Care Bear Classroom, Sugar Bear Classroom, and Panda Bear Classroom
In our younger Early Childhood Classrooms we strive to partner with families by working together in helping their child(ren) further develop their skills. Ongoing assessments take place in these classrooms so that we can make sure individual lesson plans reflect opportunities to build on each child's developmental skills. Our classrooms teach from Teaching Strategies: The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, & Twos which also has a portfolio piece that is used.
Koala Bear Classroom and Gummy Bear Classroom
In our Preschool classrooms we are striving to be ready for Kindergarten not only academically but also socially and emotionally as well. Our staff are dedicated to making sure that lesson plans reflect the children's interest and continue to build on the information they already have. On going assessments are done to make sure that each child's needs are being met. Our curriculum is Teaching Strategies The Creative Curriculum for Preschool.
Black Bear Classroom and Grizzly Bear Classroom
In our school age classrooms we strive to help support children and parents as they are going through the academic years. Our staff are dedicated to creating a environment that is based on the interest of the children and is flexible to make changes as needed. In the upcoming months we are excited for our unit in which both classrooms will be working together during lesson times; our first topic will be building houses. We also strive to partner with the parents and local school districts to help children further develop their academic skills as well.
