Director:
My name is Penny Driver I have been married for 33 years and have been blessed with four children and one granddaughter. I have my Masters Degree in ECE with a Special Needs emphasis. I have enjoyed working with children for the last 26 years.
Assistant Director:
My name is Stephanie and I have grown up in the ECE field. I help oversee the Curriculum in the classrooms. I have BA in ECE with a Special Education Endorsement. I enjoy watching children grow and develop. Thank you for letting us have the opportunity to play a small part in your children's life as they grow.
Office Manager:
My name is Cindy Dukett, I have worked at Teddy Bear for 12 years. I have my Masters in Leadership. I have two boys and a variety of animals that keep me busy when I am not at the center.
Panda Bear Classroom:
My name is Deana Carnaghi, I graduated in 2017 from Illinois College with a BA Degree in International Studies and a double minor in History and French. I grew up a Military Brat living in different places and am the 2nd oldest out of 12 children so I had lots of personal experience being around younger children. This also allowed me to know that I would end up working with children, my favorite part is watching them grow and learn!
My name is April, I started at Teddy Bear in May of 2021 and have enjoyed meeting everyone while learning about ECE. I have two cats and my favorite color is purple. I enjoy teaching people how to draw and random animal facts.
Bus Driver and Maintenance:
My name is Soni Owens I started working full time Teddy Bear in 2019 before that I drove a bus and worked part time. I enjoy watching the children learn and grow.

Care Bear Classroom:
My name is Patty Barron, I enjoy working with kids because children make me happy as they grow and learn! I love my kids, sunflowers, and movies. A random fact about me is that I am scared of mushrooms.
My name is Marjorie, I have an Associates Degree in General Education. I enjoy working with children. In my spare time I like to do arts and crafts!
Sugar Bear Classroom:
My name is Lisa Atwood, I have an Associates Degree in General Education and have 3 years of experience working with infants. I love working with children, teaching them, watching them grow and evolve into great wonderful children.
My name is Kaylyn. I love coming to work everyday and watching the children in my classroom learn new things. A fun fact about me I have lived in three different states. Outside of work I enjoy shopping, hanging out with my friends and family.
Koala Bear Classroom:
My name is Sierra Davis, I have taken two years of Early Childhood Education at Capital Area Career Center and plan on enrolling at Lincoln Land in their ECE program. I received my CDA in the fall of 2020. I have two younger brothers who I help take care of. I have always wanted to be a teacher since fourth grade!
My name is Becky, I enjoy spending time with your children everyday watching them grow and learn new things. I have 5 children of my own, their age rage is 17 months to 17 years old. I enjoy spending time outside, doing arts and crafts and just hanging out with my family.
Gummy Bear Classroom:
My name is Angela Davis I have worked in ECE field for 16 years and enjoy watching the children grow over the years. I have three children who keep me very busy when I am not at work, and I enjoy spending time with them.
Floating Teacher:
My name is Courtney McClure, I have dreamed about being a teacher since I was 5 years old. I am currently working towards my Bachelor's Degree. I have one little boy and in my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my family and watching the Springfield Sliders play.
My name is Amber, I work at RES and come in during breaks or afterschool. I enjoy rocking the babies and hanging out with the kiddos. In my spare time I enjoy shopping, getting my nails done and hanging out with my family.
Black Bears:

My name is Riya I am new to Teddy Bear and enjoy hanging out with the children every afternoon, during breaks and summer. I like to hear the stories they tell about their school day or even what they did over the weekend.
Grizzly Bears:
My name is Rachel Caldwell I have worked at Teddy Bear for 8 years. Previously I was in the Panda Bear Classroom before becoming the cook/assistant director and now the Grizzly Bear teacher. I have 2 children, a husband and a dog. We enjoy game nights. My favorite part about early childhood is seeing a child learn something new!
My name is Parker, I love coming in and hanging out with the kids afterschool. My favorite color is blue and I also enjoy pop music.
My name is Bella, I am new to the Teddy Bear Team. I enjoy working with the kids afterschool and hanging out with them. In my spare time I like to swim and play sports.
Nurse:
My name is Sandy Caldwell I have worked at Teddy Bear as the nurse for several years. I love coming into check on the kids and help with keeping the center safe and healthy.
My name is Lori, I am the full-time LPN at Teddy Bear. I enjoy getting to meet all of the kiddos and play a part in helping everyone stay safe and healthy.
